Marlborough – Cooling off on a warm morning June 19, Conor and his mother, Terri Taylor, have fun in the "Mommy and Me" swimming program at Memorial Beach on Fort Meadow Reservoir. Sign-up for this summer's six one-week sessions is through Marlborough's Recreation Department.

Westborough – Christopher Moraal of Westborough won the statewide Short Story Contest for high school students, the Westborough Woman's Club announced.
