Land trust volunteers label storm drains

image

Westborough - Sponsored by the Westborough Community Land Trust, multigenerational teams labeled storm drains in downtown Westborough with a message reminding people not to dump anything down storm drains. Pollutants such as pet waste, motor oil, paint, litter and leaves enter waterways directly from storm drains, usually without treatment. Volunteers included: (l to r) Kris Allen, Miles Henderson, Steve Hilton, Craig and Lydia Stedman, Barbara Muise and Elaine Moore.
