Christopher Moraal wins state Short Story Contest

Westborough - Christopher Moraal of Westborough won the statewide Short Story Contest for high school students, the Westborough Woman's Club announced.

Moraal is a 2007 graduate of Westborough High School, and will attend Emmanuel College this fall.

Moraal's story "Sweet Memories" won for the grades 10 to 12 category. Each firstplace winner in the state received a certificate. The winning entry in each category will be forwarded for the national competition sponsored by the General Federation of Women's Clubs.
