Reginald L. Latimer, 82

Ashby - Reginald L. Latimer, 82, formerly of Hudson, died at his residence Wednesday, July 18, 2007 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Catherine (Palmieri) Latimer, who died in 2003.

He leaves his children, Patricia Fiola and her husband, Paul, and Jeff rey Latimer and his wife, Catherine; five grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Boston, Mr. Latimer was a former employee of the Raytheon Corporation in Wayland for 25 years, working as an assembler. Prior to that, he worked for the former Lapointes Machine Shop in Hudson.

He enjoyed small engine repair as a hobby, for which he was well known as he served many local Hudson residents by repairing lawnmowers and other related machines. He was an avid New England Patriots fan and season ticket holder for many years and a former member of the Hudson Rod and Gun Club.

Funeral services were held July 23 from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson.
