Daisy C. White, 83

Westborough – Daisy C. White, 83, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late William White.

She leaves her daughters, Jean White and Patricia Turcotte; her brothers, David Indge and John Indge; five grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Westborough, the daughter of Herbert and Constance Ethel (Everett) Indge, she was educated in town schools and graduated from Westborough High School in 1942.

Mrs. White was employed as an administrative assistant for the Town of Westborough, serving for the Board of Health and at the public library before retiring in 1991. Previously, she had also worked as a draftsman for the Norton Company and sold Christian books titled "Successful Living."

An active member of the First United Methodist Church in Westborough, she was also a member of the Round Table, Quilting Group, the Senior Center, the Community Chorus, the Hundredth Town Chorus, the Westborough Militia and the Westborough Garden Club.

Funeral services were held Sept. 26 from the First United Methodist Church, with burial at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in West Boylston. The Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home directed arrangements.
