Roger H. Kane Jr., 63, formerly of Worcester

Shrewsbury – Roger H. Kane Jr., 63, formerly of Worcester, died at home Friday, Sept. 21, 2007.

He leaves his uncle, James Bergin, and several cousins.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Roger and Mary (Bergin) Kane Sr. He graduated from Worcester State College and earned his master's degrees in social work at Assumption College and Boston College.

Mr. Kane had been employed as a social worker for various Massachusetts and Connecticut social service agencies.

Funeral services were held Sept. 24 from St. Christopher Church, with burial at St. John's Cemetery. The O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Inc., 1501 NW 9th Ave./Bob Hope Rd., Miami, FL33136.
