Southborough's Heritage Day includes road race


Southborough – Runners take off at the start of the Southborough Heritage Day Road Race Oct. 7. Seventy-five people registered for the road race, which offered a choice of a five-mile run or a three-mile walk. The race was sponsored by the Southborough Recreation Commission and the Southborough Rotary Club as part of the town's Heritage Day Celebration, which also included a lighted jack-o-lantern display, car show, field races, entertainment, pie eating contest, a vendor fair and Fire Department Open House.
