Region – Joining expatriates from India in a celebratory car rally beginning in Marlborough and ending in Westborough, Westborough resident Pramit Makoday (standing, front, left, holding sign) and Rev. Stephen Gemme (standing, front, right, holding sign) applaud India's Sept. 24 win over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup cricket tournament. Gemme is pastor at St. Bernadette Church in Northborough, one of the pit-stops for the car rally. Makoday, secretary of Shrewsbury-based Next Generation Foundation, a charitable organization that aids children in need in India and other countries, helped introduce a shortened format of the T20 cricket tournament in Massachusetts as a fund-raiser.
