Marie R. Comeau, 94

Marlborough – Marie Rose (Robert) Comeau, 94, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at Marlborough Hills Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Alphonse Comeau.

She leaves her brother-in-law, Leon Wright, and her nieces and nephews, Doris Josephson and her husband, Arthur; Paul Plante; Robert Plante; Odette Luszcz; Yvonne Whidden; and Marcel Plante. She also leaves several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Boucher) Robert.

Mrs. Comeau had been employed as a boxmaker for the former Frye Corbin Box Co. in Marlborough for 25 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the former St. Mary's Parish, and spent many happy hours at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

A funeral mass was celebrated Nov. 23 from St. Bernadette's Church in Northborough, with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Marlborough. The Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough directed arrangements.
