Irene R. Bukata, 85
Straff ord, N.H. - Irene Rose (Brown) Bukata, 85, formerly of Westborough, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at the Frisbee Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H. She was the wife of the late William J. Bukata.
She leaves her son, Richard Bukata; her daughter, Mary Anne Peterson and her husband, John; her granddaughters, Meghan and Holly Peterson; and her sister, Louise Brown.
Born Nov. 3, 1922 in Westborough, she was the daughter of William and Annie (Fitzpatrick) Brown.
Mrs. Bukata was formerly of Westborough, where she was self-employed as a hairdresser and enjoyed volunteering her time at St. Luke the Evangelist Church. She will always be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother.
A memorial service was held Dec. 22 from the Rand-Harper Pickering Westborough Funeral Home.
