image

Marlborough - On Jan. 18, Marlborough resident and 50-year fly fishing enthusiast Armand Courchaine demonstrates his talents at the Royal Plaza Trade Center's three-day fly fishing show. He is working on a "Hair Frog Pattern" lure made of deer body hair.

Using a similar fly, he has caught a 6-pound large-mouth bass in Mill Pond in Westborough. On Feb. 17, Courchaine will give a fly-tying demonstration at Wayside Inn. For more information on fly fishing, contact Courchaine at ajflyfish@yahoo.com.
