Rehearsals underway for young singers
Region - There are still spaces left for young people in grades three through 12 who enjoy singing and want to join the Pro Musica Youth Chorus. Monday evening rehearsals have begun at Hudson High School, Room 110, 69 Brigham St. at 6:30 p.m. New singers are welcome at the Jan. 28 rehearsal. Chorus members are currently from 11 diff erent towns: Hudson, Northborough, Southborough, Westborough, Bolton, Clinton, Lancaster, Maynard, Stow, Upton and West Boylston.
By making music together, children learn how to work with each other and share responsibility. Members of the chorus learn self-confidence, cooperation, discipline, music appreciation and a sense of fitting in.
