St. Michael Parish to hold ‘Mega 2008′ raffle

Hudson - The St. Michael Parish Schools in Hudson have announced "Mega 2008," a raffle with a grand prize of $50,000. In addition to the grand prize, the second prize is a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo5 or $10,000, and there are 18 other cash prizes, as well. The raffle marks the beginning of St. Michael School's 90th and Hudson Catholic High School's 50th anniversary celebrations, with all proceeds to benefit both schools.

On Saturday Jan. 26, the kick-off of Mega 2008 ticket sales to the general public will begin at Durand Chevrolet, 233 Washington St., Hudson, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those who purchase tickets at Durand Chevrolet that day will be entered into a drawing to win five free additional tickets.

Tickets are $100 each. Only 2,500 tickets will be sold. The drawing will be Saturday May 3 at 6 p.m. at Hudson Catholic High School.
