Send Girl Scout cookies to U.S. troops

Westborough – Girl Scouts of Westborough are once again collecting boxes of Girl Scout cookies to mail to U.S. military personnel abroad. In collaboration with Westborough TV Inc., the Girl Scouts will host a live, televised cookie booth sale at 30 Lyman St., in front of the Cable TV station, Saturday March 1 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

The live broadcast will include interviews with local and state officials and veterans; the Girl Scouts will sell cookies and accept monetary donations for mailing the cookies to our soldiers. They will also have a table set up with supplies to make cards to send overseas with the cookies.

If you know of someone serving in the military who would like to have Girl Scout cookies mailed to him or her, contact Jenni Speed at jennifer.m.speed@gmail.com with their contact information.

All are welcome to visit the cookie booth and show support for our troops.
