Northborough - The Northborough Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting Friday March 28 at 7:30 p.m. The evening's program will be

A View from Dr. Ball's Porch," presented by Pat Doyle.

The program will off er a view of Northborough's Main Street beginning with its early days as part of Marlborough, including 1854 photographic views down Main Street, on through 1898 when the new library was dedicated, and fi- nally up to the changes that are about to take place on Main Street today.

Pat taught school for 30 years, 10 of them at Algonquin Regional High School, before retiring to team up with her husband, Skip, at their photography studio, Francis Doyle Photography. Skip reproduced the old pictures in the program from photos in the archives of the Historical Society.
