Ocklawaha, Fla. - Laurance K. Poole, formerly of Marlborough and Stow, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 after a short illness at Sylvia House in Belleview, Fla.

He leaves his wife, Marilyn; his son, Bert; his siblings, Leste Poole and Audrey Nowick; three grandchildren; his cousin, Rei Poole; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Poole was a member of the Marlborough Masonic Lodge and past commander of the V.F.W. Post 1027 of Hudson. A retired letter carrier from Maynard, he will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
