Town celebrates library's centennial birthday

The celebration, which was held on the front lawn of the library, included a welcome by James Holmes, chairman of the Board of Trustees; a reading of the 1908 Dedication by Helena Engberg, vice chair of the Board of Trustees; guest speaker John Arnold, Finance Committee member and library trustee from 1977 to 1992; musical entertainment by Chip Smith's Old Time String Band; and activities, including face-painting, balloon animals, refreshments including birthday cake and door prizes.
