Region – This mighty cut by Mark Forster didn't result in a hit, but his Marlborough American Legion team split its pair of games with the Northborough Legion squad, losing, 9-4, in the first game before winning, 8-7, in the second.

Marlborough trailed in the second game, 7-3, heading into its final at-bat, but rallied for five runs to win the game. Marlborough's Mark Murray singled twice in the seventh inning. John Tunnera also had a big second game for 2-6 Marlborough, belting a three-run homer in the first inning.

In the first game Northborough (4-4) was led by Nick Delbuono (3-for-4 with a double) and Mike Pelland (3-for-4, two RBIs). Tyler Hilbert got the win on the mound, striking out eight. Both games were played June 21 at Memorial Field in Northborough.
