Benjamin P. Tamulevich, 93

Marlborough – Benjamin P. Tamulevich, 93, died Thursday, June 20, 2008 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Nellie (Palesky) Tamulevich, who died in 2005.

He leaves his son-in-law, Edward McCarthy; his granddaughter, Megan Brodeur; and his sister-in-law, Ingrid Janiskevich. He was the father of the late Rita McCarthy, who died in 2004.

Born in Maynard, the son of Julia Tamulevich, he had lived in Marlborough for most of his life. He graduated from Maynard High School in 1932 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Mr. Tamulevich was an assembler for over 15 years at the former GM plant in Framingham, retiring in the late 1970s.

He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, the Marlborough Seniors and the V.F.W. of Marlborough.

Funeral services were held June 23 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough, with burial with military honors at Evergreen Cemetery.
