Robert U. Lampinen, 53

Clinton – Robert U. Lampinen, 53, formerly of Hudson, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

He leaves his son, Nathan, and his daughter, Maggie, as well as his siblings, Jack Lampinen, Kathleen McNamara and Margaret O'Toole; his dear friend and longtime companion, Aline Madden; and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Marlborough, the son of Urho and Margaret (Shaughnessy) Lampinen, he resided in Hudson most of his life, attending local schools and graduating from Hudson High School in 1972.

Mr. Lampinen was a member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks and member of the Board 175 IAABO Basketball Association as a referee.

A funeral mass was celebrated June 20 from St. Michael's Church of Hudson, with burial at Glenwood Cemetery in Maynard. The Tighe- Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson directed arrangements.
