Local resident graduates from basic combat training

Shrewsbury – Army Reserve Pvt. Sheena M. Bass has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Among the subjects studied during her nine weeks of training were the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, basic combat skills, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, military courtesy and justice system, basic First Aid and field training exercises.

Sheena is a 2007 graduate of Shrewsbury High School, and is the daughter of Kathy and Ralph Bass, and the niece of Mary and Lee Devolio, all of Shrewsbury.
