“Dancing with Friends” benefit Sept. 5
The 3rd annual "Dancing with Friends" benefit for the Walk to Cure Cancer will be held Friday, Sept. 5. The event will be held at Maironis Park, 52 South Quinsigamond Ave., Shrewsbury, and includes lessons in salsa from 2-3 p.m., swing from 3-4 p.m., fox trot from 4-5 p.m. and salsa from 5-6 p.m. Cost is $10 per person per class or $30 per person for all lessons. That evening, cha cha lessons will be held 7:15-8 p.m. with general dancing from 8-11 p.m. The cost for the evening dancing is $15.
