Senior Center to host flu clinics, craft class

Northborough – Members of the Northborough Senior Center are inviting the public to two events in the coming weeks. The annual flu clinic will be held Tuesday Nov. 4, and a craft class will run Friday Nov. 7.

The flu clinic provides a chance for Northborough seniors and other residents who are at risk this winter to receive the flu shot at no charge. Attendees should bring their Medicare or insurance cards, as the vaccination will be covered under either. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center.

To register, stop by the Northborough Senior Center and fill out a form during the week before the clinic.

Parking is available in the Veterans Memorial Lot and the Trinity Church parking lot. If transportation is needed, call the Northborough Council on Aging at 508-752-9283.

For those who are unable to make the Nov. 4 clinic, another will be held Thursday Nov. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Northborough Town Hall.

For those seniors looking for some fall fun, join Andrea Turner of Bolton Manor Nursing home for a morning of craft making Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Northborough Senior Center. Call 508-393-5035 to sign up.
