Scouting for Food in Marlborough

Marlborough – Gathered at City Hall to announce the 21st annual Marlborough Scouting for Food campaign are (l to r) Girl Scout Troop leader Kathleen Lirette, Girl Scouts Amanda Cote and Rachel Hooper, Mayor Nancy Stevens, Boy Scout Austin Watson, Marlborough Community Services Executive Director Fatinha Kerr, and Unit Commissioner Jim Watson.

About 400 Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Brownies will distribute bags donated by Price Chopper to homes throughout the city Saturday Nov. 1. Residents are encouraged to fill the bags with items such as canned goods, dry goods and toiletries, which will be donated to the Marlborough Food Pantry.

The Scouts will pick up the bags placed in front of homes starting at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 8.
