‘Sing Out’ annual event to present ‘Rockin’ in the ’70s’

Shrewsbury - The Shrewsbury Middle School Parent Teacher Organization is sponsoring "Sing Out 2008," presenting "Rocking' in the '70s" as the fall musical, featuring students from Sherwood Middle School. Performances will be Friday Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., Saturday Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. and Sunday Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. in the Oak Middle School Auditorium.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors, and can be purchased at the door.

Director Linda Gadilauskas reprises her role in Sherwood's "Sing-Out," a tradition dating back to the 1960s, a role that she enjoys

"[I enjoy it] because the kids grow with each rehearsal, and [make] friendships and memories that will last their lifetimes," she said.
