High school nursing program to hold Open House
Marlborough – Individuals interested in pursuing a career in Practical Nursing are invited to attend the annual Open House at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School (AVRTHS) Thursday Dec. 18 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event will be held in the Practical Nursing Department at the school, located at 215 Fitchburg St., Marlborough.
The Open House will feature information and lab demonstrations.
AVRTHS's Practical Nursing Program has the full approval of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
The program is a 40-week, full-time, day program that prepares men and women for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination. Upon completion of the program, graduates receive a certificate of proficiency in Practical Nursing.
