Choral students selected for national honors chorus


Northborough/Southborough – – Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) students (l to r) Liz Wall, Vale Southard, Shay Gibson and Caroline Joyner line up after recently receiving top national choral honors from the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA).

The singers will participate in four days of rehearsal preparing for a performance at the ACDA National Convention in Oklahoma City, March 3 through 7, 2009.

ARHS also had 16 students represented in the Massachusetts ACDA High School Honor Choir Festival, which took place Oct. 25. Selected for that choir were Dee Clark, Heather Scott, Kelsey O'Hare, Juliana Batista, Caroline Estes, Jodie Rollins, Rachel Gonsenhouser, Megan Carmody, Ryan Walsh, Colby Robbins, Will Deady, Erik Helms, Tyler Jacobson, John Chapdelaine, Kevin Carens and Jason Gao.
