Making his move

Marlborough – Marlborough High School (MHS) junior Tyke Ferguson prepares to execute a move to his opponent, Jason Kraus of Sharon High, during a quad-meet with Sharon, St. John's and Carver high schools, hosted by the Panthers Jan. 24. MHS defeated Carver, 42-36, but lost to St. John's by the same score, and to Sharon by a score of 53-26.

MHS junior J.P. Morais, wrestling in the 135-pound weight class, won all three of his matches, two by pins. Ferguson, wrestling in the 130-pound weight class, won two of his three matches. MHS junior Luke Cherette, in the 171-pound weight class, won his first varsity match, against St. John's, by pinning his opponent.
