Girl Scout offers ‘Recycling 101′ seminar

Westborough – To find out more about recycling and to get tips about making recycling more practical, attend the Recycling 101 seminars organized by Girl Scout Leah Garber as her Gold Award project. The seminars, to be held Saturday Feb. 28 at the Evangelical Congregational Church, will teach the importance of recycling and the benefits for individuals and the community.

The seminar at 1 p.m. is for adults, and the one at 2:30 p.m. is for children ages 5 through 12. Young children must be supervised by an adult. Children will learn how they can recycle and will make a bird feeder out of milk containers. Pre-registration is requested for the children's program. Call 508-736-8721 to register.

Both seminars are free to the community and attendees will receive informational fliers.
