Doe-Rey-Me Preschool sells cookbooks as tribute to founder

Northborough – The Doe- Rey-Me Cookbook Committee has collected the best recipes of alumni, family and friends of the Doe-Rey-Me Preschool in a tribute to Marilyn Dorey, the preschool's founder and educator for over 40 years, who died last year after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

The cookbook includes a collection of Marilyn Dorey's recipes and is filled with over 600 recipes from appetizers to desserts. The cover artwork, designed by local artist Roya Blodgett, captures the beauty and comfort of cooking in a kitchen filled with love and warmth.

Presales began in early May. A limited number of copies will be available and may be purchased for $15 each. All proceeds will go to a mosaic project in honor of Marilyn Dorey. The mosaic will hang in the Children's Room at the Northborough Public Library.

Cookbooks can be purchased by contacting Mary Freeburn at doereymecooks@gmail.com or by calling 508-393-7658.
