Jay Pittorino of Pitt Pipeline Co. brought in heavy equipment to do some of the work, Jeff Alcott of Bark Mulch Unlimited donated 40 yards of playground mulch, and the Caspariello family donated paint. Hard-working laborers came from the Cardin, Reed, Kudej, Fitzgibbon, Cusson, Silverberg, Hopkinson, Buradagunta, Keddy, Fitzgerald, McCarthy, Bogaert, Biancheri, Simpson, Miller, McDermott, Kalamkar and Liebert families.

The Special Education Parent Advisory Council donated the high-back swing, and the Westborough Civic Club gave $300. The playground was primarily funded by the Armstrong Parent Group through its many fund-raisers.
