St. Michael School moves next door

image

Hudson – Regina Swanton and Dennis McCumber are among the parents volunteering earlier this month to help move everything from St. Michael School (SMS) to the next-door building that had been occupied for the past 50 years by Hudson Catholic High. The high school closed at the end of last school year due to decreased enrollment and increased expenses.

The new building will provide additional space, new state-of-the-art science labs and a recently renovated gymnasium for the students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Principal Patricia Delaney is still meeting with parents interested in enrolling students next school year, which begins Tuesday Sept. 8.

An open house for SMS families is scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 2, and a re-dedication ceremony will take place Tuesday Sept. 29. For information, visit www.stmichaelschoolhudson.org.
