Church to host ‘Totally Free Garage Sale’

Region – Grace Baptist Church has announced that it will hold a "Totally Free Garage Sale" (TFGS) Saturday Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the church grounds at 353 River Road in Hudson, rain or shine. There is no admission and all goods are given away free of charge.

Volunteers from the church and the community have worked together to collect, sort, organize and arrange items for the event.

"You can find just about anything there, including baby goods, clothing, pots and pans, small appliances, and sporting goods," said Rosilyn Baker, Marlborough's human services director.

The public is invited to contribute unwanted items seven days a week, in the TFGS storage containers placed on the west side of the church campus. Those who have goods to donate that cannot fit in their own vehicles can call the church for pickup service at 978- 562-8550 ext. 127.

Everything donated must be in good, working condition, and cannot include hazardous materials, broken items or cans of paint.

Transportation for those who are otherwise unable to attend is available with an advance request by calling the church office.
