Where’s the fire??

Westborough – Voters in town will soon have the opportunity to decide whether now is the right time to build a public safety complex to house the town's Police and Fire departments in a single three-story building on Milk Street. Selectmen recently agreed to place the item before residents at a fall Town Meeting. One reason for the rush is that the project must be underway this year in order to qualify for a potential federal grant of $3 million. The grant is part of the stimulus package designed to help communities build new fire stations.
