Hitting the greens to raise some green

Shrewsbury – Residents are invited to play in the annual Shrewsbury Patrol Officer's Union Golf Tournament to be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 9 at the Holden Hills Country Club in Jeff erson. In addition to enjoying a fun round of golf, the officers sponsor the event to raise funds for local causes like Shrewsbury High School athletics and the Relay for Life.

The cost to participate is $100 per person for 18 holes and dinner. Stop by the Police Station for a registration form.
