Northborough to collect blankets for families

Northborough – On Saturday and Sunday Sept. 26 and 27, there will be collection bins at St. Rose of Lima Church, St. Bernadette Church, Trinity Church, and Church of the Nativity as well as Applefest booth 100 to accept clean new and lightly used blankets and linens. All blankets will go to benefit the Village at Cambridge Street in Worcester.

The Village at Cambridge Street is an apartment-based family shelter program providing short-term housing, employment training, housing search, and other educational programming and services to help displaced families transition to self-sufficiency.
