Parent council to present Special Ed information session

Northborough/Southborough – The Northborough-Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council will present “Special Education in Our Districts” Tuesday Nov. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room H221 at Algonquin Regional High School, Bartlett Street, Northborough.

Barbara Goodman, director of Student Support Services, and Arlene Shainker, assistant director of Student Support Services, will present an overview of Special Education processes including building-based support teams, referral processes, systems for supporting at-risk students, and more, followed by a questionand answer session.

They will be joined by Superintendent of Schools Charles Gobron, Assistant Superintendent Ewa Pytowska and School Committee members.

The event is open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Check the website at www.nspac. org for updates or cancellations.

To attend, enter the high school through the upper school doors and follow the signs.
