Arlene P. Doyno, 83


Northborough – Arlene P. (Genereux) Doyno, 83, formerly of Elmont, Long Island, N.Y., died Sunday July 25, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester following a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Carlo Doyno, who died in 2004.


She is survived by her son, William A. Doyno; her daughter, Barbara J. Weddeke; four grandchildren, Neal Weddeke, Joseph Weddeke, Deirdre Doyno and Cassandra Doyno; a sister, Eunice Harrington; two brothers, William Genereux and Joseph Genereux; and many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Boston, the daughter of the late Harrison E. and Marguerite (Maskill) Genereux, she had been a resident of Northborough for the past 28 years. She volunteered at the Thrift Shop at St. Rose of Lima Church, where she was also an active member.

A funeral Mass was held July 29 at St. Rose of Lima Church, with burial at Howard Street Cemetery of Northborough. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough assisted with arrangements.
