Parade to be one of the highlights of Applefest

Northborough – Dick Perron, the 2010 Applefest parade coordinator, is especially proud of this year’s off erings. All the regulars will be there, along with some new attractions. The parade is set to step off at noon Saturday, Sept. 11.

Participants will assemble at Lincoln Street Elementary School at 11 a.m. Entries are lined up in a first-come, firstserved order, so arrive early if you want to be in one of the first groups.

The parade travels south from the school to West Main Street (Route 20) and travels east to the railroad tracks downtown. At the end of the parade, participants are dispersed via Hudson Street and others via School Street.
