Applefest includes annual Streetfair
Northborough – The 2010 Northborough Applefest Streetfair is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11, on Blake Street in downtown Northborough. Booths will be staff ed by craft artisans, merchants, clubs, organizations and food vendors. Family entertainment will be interspersed with information about local organizations, businesses and nonprofits, along with a variety of foods and drinks.
The Streetfair attracts close to 10,000 visitors every year, and off ers over 130 booth displays, a food court, a covered picnic bench eating area, musical entertainment for the young, a petting zoo, police and fire truck displays, and many craft and merchant displays.
The rain date for the Streetfair is Sunday, Sept. 12. If it rains both days, there will be no Streetfair.
