The same suspect had broken into a house in Hopkinton Oct. 18 and an arrest warrant had been issued for him by the Hopkinton Police. The Marlborough Police arrested Burgess Oct. 19 on the Hopkinton breaking and entering (B&E) warrant. Shrewsbury Detectives determined that Burgess had also allegedly committed the B&E earlier in Shrewsbury on Hill Street; he was charged with B&E in the daytime and larceny from a building.
