Hudson Education Foundation announces officers
Hudson – The Board of Directors of Hudson Education Foundation is pleased to announce the election of its offi cers for 2010-2011: Marianne Vergano-Laughton, president; Rebecca Gellenthien, treasurer; and Kathy McGuire Leon, secretary. Other members of the board are Russell Cook, Christina DiBattista, Maria Davis, Lisa Lewis-Kane, Glenn Maston, Laurie Sachs and Selena Walckner. Volunteers include Susan Cook, Sarah Cressy and Bobbie Ewels.
Hudson Education Foundation supports public education in Hudson by providing grants for innovative, creative educational programs that are not covered in the annual school budget. A private, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, the foundation raises funds through grants, fundraisers and direct donations from the community.
