– Christine M. (Roy) Donohoe, 43, died at home Sunday Feb. 20, 2011 after a long illness.
She leaves her loving husband of 14 years, Sean P. Donohoe; her beloved daughters, Alicia and Colleen Donohoe of Northborough; her mother, Patricia Roy of Sturbridge; a brother, Kevin Roy of Florence, and a sister, Amy Gaudette of Sturbridge; her paternal grandfather, Stanley Roy of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Pensacola, Fla. and raised in Sturbridge, the daughter of Lawrence and Patricia (Ledner) Roy, she graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in 1985 and UMass-Amherst in 1989, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.
Mrs. Donohoe was a member of St. Bernadette Parish. She volunteered at Proctor Elementary School and was active in the Northborough community. She enjoyed traveling and gardening.
Calling hours are Tuesday Feb. 22, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday Feb. 23, at 10 a.m., in St. Bernadette Church, 266 Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
