Marlborough rolls out welcome mat

Marlborough – As the city laments the loss of 1,200 Fidelity Investment jobs, Marlborough officials are now choosing to actively focus on efforts to revitalize and seek ways to position the city as a major business epicenter of the state. As such, the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation held a series of focus groups April 13 and 14, where members of all sectors of the community were invited to share their ideas about what the city has done right and what it can do better. The public at large is also invited to weigh in with their thoughts at a forum Saturday, May 21, at Marlborough High School. All data collected will be published as part of an Economic Development Master Plan that will be available in early fall.
