Maurice J. Shea, 82

Northborough – Maurice “Bud” J. Shea, 82, formerly of Northborough, died Monday April 11, 2011, at Radius Health Care in Southbridge after a long illness. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Caroline M. (Aubin) Shea; five sons, Kevin Shea of Oxford, Alan Shea of Spencer, David Shea of Gettysburg, Penn., John Shea of Brookfield, and Eric Shea of Shrewsbury; one daughter, Laura Williams of Hopedale; his siblings, Edward Shea of Northborough and Mary Cooley of Gardner; 16 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He had lived in Northborough from 1955 to 1984, and resided in Acton, Maine, before moving to Southbridge in 2003.

Mr. Shea operated Bud Shea's Appliance Repair in Northborough for many years before retiring in 1984. He was a member of Worcester County North Chester Club.
