Students tour Tatnuck Bookseller in Westborough

A group of students from the Early Childhood Careers program at Tri-County Regional High School in Franklin visited Tatnuck Bookseller in Westborough April 1.

Westborough – A group of students from the Early Childhood Careers program at Tri-County Regional High School in Franklin visited Tatnuck Bookseller in Westborough April 1. The purpose of the trip was to learn more about the operations of a bookstore, including the selection of merchandise, the aesthetics involved in designing displays and the issues arising from providing customer service. How marketing and design factors influence children was also discussed. In addition, the students were required to locate various children’s books based on authors, genres, Caldecott winners and their own childhood favorites.
