Hudson – After writing letters monthly since September 2010, participants in an intergenerational Pen Pal Program meet in person for the first time May 31 at the Hudson Senior Center: second-graders (front, l to r) Tahnyia Black, Mikey Peckham, Julia Beatty, Alex Colleoni-Pimenta and Audrey DeZutter, and their pen pals (back, l to r) Glenna Karvoski, Mike and Dotty Parker, Martha Barry and Judy Quinn. Sixteen second-graders from Jennifer Strachan's class at Farley Elementary School were paired with seniors, coordinated by Ana Terra-Salomao, the center's bilingual social services advocate. After enjoying snacks, the students toured the recently renovated center and performed a couple of songs for their pen pals.
