Volunteers needed for Hudson Community Garden project

Hudson – A group of Hudson residents will be gathering at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Harvest Café lounge area to brainstorm a possible Community Garden in town. Anyone interested in helping create a Community Garden is invited to participate.

Organizers encourage people with gardening and farming experience to attend, and also people of all ages who don’t have green thumbs, but would like to participate in the project.

Community Gardens are ideal for those looking for extra planting space, but also serve as a way to build community pride, meet neighbors and participate in the local food movement.

Harvest Café is located at 40 Washington St. in Hudson. For more information, look for the group Hudson MA Community Garden on Facebook or e-mail hudsonmacommunitygarden@gmail.com.
