Westborough – Roland “Larry” Baker, 76, died Sunday July 24, 2011, at UMass Medical, University Campus in Worcester.
He was the beloved husband of Edith (MacPherson) Reeves, and loving father of Daniel Reeves and his wife Denise Poisson of Plymouth; Jill (Baker) McMillen and her husband Richard McMillen of Westborough; Laurie Baker of San Diego, Calif.; James Baker of Lawrence; and Jon Baker of Colorado. He was also the stepfather to Chester, Steve and Kevin Reeves of Brighton and loving brother of Viola (Baker) Reed and her husband Walter Reed of Virginia Beach, Va. and Martha Marie Baker of Framingham. He was the twin brother of the late Ruth Cipoletti, the late Martha Oljey, and the late Maureen Faulkner, all of Lynn. In addition, he was the devoted grandfather to Heather Reeves of San Diego; Steve and Mathew Reeves of Allston; Jake Ryan Reeves of Chattahoochie, Fla.; Madison Reeves of Plymouth; and Daniel, Ashley and Melissa McMillen of Westborough, and the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours Thursday July 28, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough, followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.
