Police department food drive to benefit Marlborough Food Pantry

Marlborough – The Marlborough Police Department has teamed up with the Marlborough Food Pantry to hold a food drive through Friday Sept. 9. The donation box will be located in the front lobby of the police department at 355 Bolton St.

The Marlborough Food Pantry is in desperate need of food to stock the shelves as donations have been very scarce. Items that are needed include canned fruit cocktail and pears, Spaghetti O’s, spaghetti & meatballs, baked beans, spaghetti sauce, tuna (solid or chunk light), Hamburger Helper, scalloped potatoes, instant mashed potatoes, jelly and jam, and baby diapers (sizes 3, 4, 5).

For more information, call Sue Blaisdell, Marlborough Police Department, at 1-508-485-1212 ext. 6975.
